Meet the Artist

Born in Thailand and raised on the Native Multnomah Territory, also known as Portland, OR. Pitchapa Sornsena’s natural creativity and curiosity has expanded her 2D visual discipline to 3D processing. Her work is inspired by the interaction between the environment and humans within the Anthropocene epoch.

Exploring the man-made “traces,” she is driven to design, process, and deliver unique pieces through the creation of mixed medium. Through recycled and repurposing waste materials, she wants her work to evoke reformation toward sustainable and regenerative ecosystem.
